02:46 libredev jrmu: yeah it was working as expected on devuan 4, it ran /names on each channel on join but now its not. there may be misconfiguration, i will check it later.

03:03 xfnw     rather, the irc server is supposed to do that, ngircd has some edge-cases where it does not always, though it usually should if you join the normal way
